Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, Grok, is now available for free to all users on X (formerly Twitter), eliminating the need for an X Premium subscription. Originally launched in 2023 by Musk’s xAI, Grok has become more accessible, mirroring the popularity of competitors like ChatGPT and Gemini.

Musk has hinted that Grok may soon expand its capabilities, with features like processing documents in PDF and Word formats potentially in the pipeline. Additionally, a standalone app for Grok could be launched, similar to ChatGPT and Gemini apps on iOS and Android.
xAI recently completed a $6 billion funding round, boosting its valuation to $40 billion. Part of these funds will go toward expanding its supercomputer facility in Memphis, Tennessee, supporting Musk's AI vision and competing with OpenAI's offerings
